PHYSICS LABORATORY

The Physics laboratory at KV ONGC DEHRADUN is well equipped all equipment’s required for practicals of class 11th and 12th prescribed by CBSE are available in laboratory. Facilities and services with focus on electricity, mechanics, light, heat, energy and measurements are used in a physics lab. Lab is also equipped with a proper storage room ,Amirah, racks for storing and arrangement of equipments.
A separate modern lab is also set up for class 12th and 11 activity based experiments and equipments.
Chemistry lab
We have have a well equipped chemistry laboratory with a capacity of 30. Students carry out a number of experiments under the supervision and guidance of teachers. Experiments as prescribed by CBSE for classes are carried out in the laboratory throughout the year. 30 students can work in the laboratory at a time. The laboratory is well ventilated, fitted with proper water and electricity supply. Class 11 and 12 students also conduct experiments related to their investigatory projects in this lab. Students of classes 6 to 10 are also given a chance to visit the lab whenever is required.
BIOLOGY LAB
Biology laboratory is dedicated to conduct experiments specifically in field of biology and observation of biological phenomenon. In their quest for knowledge of living things supporting and strengthening theoretical knowledge experiencing the pleasure of discovery and development of their psychomotor skills. Student gains scientific working method and high order thinking skills as well as communication skills. In our school one biology lab well equipped with Compound Microscope, Digital Microscope Charts Models and all experiments related to secondary classes.
