Balvatika at KV ONGC Dehradun

Session:2023-24

We have started Balvatika-3 in session 2023-24. Students of age group 5-6 took admission
here. Online registration for admission took place in June- July. After the lottery process , 40
students got admitted in Balvatika. But the task was not done here. We did some necessary
preparations for the comfortable study of the tiny tots.
Let us have a look on the preparations done:
In KV ONGC full-fledged preparation was done to welcome the Balvatika tiny tots. Firstly, we
chose the best room of our primary wing to setup the Balvatika. The classroom was decorated
with colorful, attractive and educational pictures, cut outs and charts so that the children can
learn by observing the surroundings. With the hard work of our talented teachers, we prepared
many informative and attractive print material to decorate the walls. Utmost care was taken to
purchase safe, comfortable and colorful furniture for our lovely kids. We chose round tables
so that the children can do their activities in groups and learn the importance of working
together. Web-scrapping was done before purchasing educational toys and learning materials
for the little ones from different websites. To make their education joyful and engaging we
installed an interactive board in the Balvatika to show films, stories, pictures and poems to the
tiny tots. Computer, Speakers and I-pad made our Balvatika room lively, active and
educational. Jadui pitara was made by the teachers. More play more learning is the motive
thus, our Balvatika takes pride in being the learning paradise for our little ones. Learning in
our Balvatika is joyful, playful and creates a positive feeling in the children.

>Session:2024-25

In this session, the interested parents/guardian filled the application form with required
documents in offline mode. We received forms in multiple of hundreds and the admission
process is running. 32 students got admission in Balvatika so far in this session.
