INNOVATION IN KV ONGC DEHRADUN

(A) MATHS LAB (PRIMARY)

We are working towards developing a dedicated Maths Lab in primary section in which we are going to include various concept clearing tools. We have developed some students made Maths Lab material like Geo Board and Fraction strips/Plate for clearing students concepts. The goals for this academic session is to develop and include other materials like Napier Strips, Dominoes , Abacus etc. In this way our aim is to establish a Maths Lab so as to give concept clearance and making Maths learning enjoyable and active.

(B) DIY HOUSE BOARDS

In every school , the informative boards are being decorated by students and teachers. In our school also our students are decorating boards with due guidance of teachers under various themes.
An innovation we have adopted to make the boards interactive so that they will not remain mere visual boards. We have included some DIY (Do it by yourself) material on our boards so that the children can get some knowledge and concepts by solving them whenever they will pass through the corridors.

(C) AEROBICS

We have started practicing Aerobics on Fundays(Saturdays) for the music integration with physical activities. Our teachers used to give demo of Aerobics from the stage.
Students enjoy a lot and all the students actively participate in the Aerobics session. This activity is helping to achieve holistic development and application of music integration in our learning. This activity is very effective in attaining Development Goal mentioned in NCF 2023.
